Conveniently located on the quiet side of town. The rooms are not glamorous but they are clean and the staff couldn’t be any nicer.

Enjoyed this charming and unique property. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and at departure. Enjoyed the courtyard area and rooftop deck.

Accommodating staff. Concierge’s helped us find a parking spot. Great options for breakfast.

Very very small bedroom space, tiny shower and bathroom. No water or glasses available in the space. . This is simply not enough room for a couple except to sleep. In the heat of summer can’t imagine this would be comfortable to shower and dress in.
Definitely shabby chic decor, but needs many renovations as the really great receptionist admitted, a work in progress.
I did not have the same experience as other tenants who gave this a rave rating and the cost for value was extraordinarily high.
The manager was charming and helpful.
In my opinion, the facilities were below par. Breakfast was cereal, bagel, boiled egg.

We really enjoyed Heron House in Key West. Older property but all properties in the area are older. We were surprised that the pool was heated! Parking is limited, but Roman, hotel manager, helped us find a close spot to park. Our room was perfect with a/c & an overhead fan because it was a bit warm. Roman made us a dinner reservation at Cafe Sol (only a couple blocks from Heron House) & the food was excellent! We recommend their portobello soup & hog fish dish!!! A continental breakfast at Heron House was a nice plus too.

Cons: Parking on the street was cramped & a struggle. The sheets were pilled & in need of replacement. The a/c was off, so the room was extremely muggy when we checked in & it took all night to get the dampness out. Tiles in the floor were cracked. We arrived for breakfast 10 mins after it started & most items were gone already & in need of replenishment.
Pros: in walking distance to Duval St & the desk person was friendly & helpful.
Overall, expected far more for $400/nt

The staff were super nice and helpful with suggestions for dining, entertainment, local attractions. They made everyone feel at home. I would definitely stay again.
