Quaint lovely vibes
Posted Mar. 1, 2024 on HotelsLoved the quaint, modern and cozy vibes of the hotel. Service was impeccable and the hotel provides amenities too which was a thoughtful and nice touch. The public bath was lovely and quiet to visit after a long day of walking. Would revisit in future again when in Kyoto!

This was a fantastic base to explore Kyoto. Hotel was quiet, rooms spacious and spa facilities fantastic. Would recommend and would certainly stay again!

The hotel itself was nice and they kindly offered to hold our luggage as we explored our last day in Kyoto. The rooms are very small, with stays of less than 4 days not serviced. The internet was very slow, unable to load YouTube or banking for most of our stay. The laundrette was tiny, with a queue of people at 9.30pm on a Saturday night. If you have any laundry to do during your stay we would highly recommend staying somewhere else or use the laundromat Koinrandoritokutoku Berezagionminamiten 3 minutes down the road which was excellent. It's in a great location close to train stations but ultimately would stay somewhere else next time.

Hotel has a great vibe and located in a convenient area. Staff are in traditional attire and very polite and attentive. We stayed in a tatami room and would definitely recommend for a unique experience. Hotel also has an onsen in the basement and although I didn’t try it, my sister said it was great.
