Maison très charmante
Publié le 18 août 2022 sur HomeAwayNous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour d’une semaine dans cette maison très charmante et avons ainsi pu profité de la plage en contrebas : très belle plage bordée de magnifiques maisons. De là nous avons pu également découvrir Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, la Jolla et San Diego.

We loved it even more this time around! The home is clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped for cooking and grilling. The gardens are peaceful and beautiful. And the location can’t be beat - we were able to walk to several local beaches and hike from the house to Aliso Peak, and thanks to the Laguna Beach trolley, we didn’t need to use our rental car except for longer excursions (Dana Point Harbor and Crystal Cove State Park). Great communication from a helpful host. Having amenities like laundry on-site and beach towels/gear provided was really helpful. Highly recommend!

Cozy cottage with a spectacular ocean view
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I spent a week relaxing at Gary & Nadia's South Laguna Beach cottage. This was our first getaway vacation since the pandemic, and we could not have been happier with our choice. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and has stunning ocean views.
The kitchen is equipped with just about everything you would need to prepare your own meals, although we limited our kitchen use to breakfasts and takeout lunches so that we could sample the local restaurants in the evenings. When the weather is nice there is a table for two with an ocean view on the small deck just outside the kitchen. Our only complaint: Most of the nonstick cookware is pretty scratched up and in need of being replaced.
The living room has comfortable furniture and an entertainment center with cable TV and a DVD player with a nice selection of movies. For music, there are cable channels as well as Pandora.
A sliding door in the large bedroom leads to another deck with an ocean view.
The garden area is meticulously maintained with tables, chairs, and plenty of shade. There is even an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand.
The bathroom is small but adequate, with a small sink/vanity and a tub/shower. The mirror above the sink is actually a medicine cabinet with shelves for stashing personal items.
A washer and dryer are located in the garage. There is a little bit of rust on the washer, but it is easy to avoid. Laundry soap, softener, and bleach are all provided.
