We were in Leavenworth for our UPCI Ladies Retreat. 420 women all gathered in Leavenworth. Ladies stayed at motels and different homes. Gods presence blest us so much.
This home was so comfortable, clean and the beds were nice. I’d definitely stay again.

Wonderful work retreat
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was great and we really enjoyed being able to walk to the nature trail, into town, and to the grocery store. There was enough space for everyone to have come privacy, but also to come together and chat. The trailhead to Icicle Ridge was also convenient to get to, which was a lovely hike! Communication with the host was prompt.

Great little gem

And although we rented this cute vintage house during one of the coldest weekends Leavenworth had seen in a while. -14 at night and -4 during the day. Our hosts were more than accommodating to ensure we were comfortable. Would definitely rent again!!

Great property/severe lack of communication
Publié le 23 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house itself was lovely. Much bigger inside than the pictures would have you believe. Everything appeared clean and in neat order. Definitely old house charm - floor boards and doors were very noisy. Heating was a little wonky, but we were never cold.
The only reason I am giving 3/5 stars is because of the lack of communication with the owners. I never received information regarding checking in/out prior to our stay. I reached out via email and called the owner numbers given with no luck. One phone number was a fax, one went straight to voicemail. Upon arrival I called a number tied to my reservation confirmation and was told they had no record of my reservation. I ended up calling VRBO Customer Service and was finally able to get the code to the key box and get into the house.
Overall we were happy with the house. We had 3 families with kids and there was more than enough space for all of us.

Location is amazing!
Publié le 10 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayLots of rooms and the whole place was even bigger than it seemed in the photos. Nice big kitchen that is well stocked with cooking and dining stuff. Location was spectacular and close to downtown. Loved it and when we come back we hope to book this house again

What a charming house in a charming neighborhood! We had a decent sized group and it felt like there was plenty of space and great communal areas. The furniture was comfy, the neighbors were lovely (they cleared snow from our front walk for us), and we were able to walk everywhere.
Things to know: it’s an old house and comes with some normal old house things (not much noise insulation, creaky floors that aren’t perfectly level, worn interior door latches that don’t always catch the first time, a front door that takes a little effort). But the aging parts are cosmetic and even charming - the appliances and kitchen are modern and I have never met an easier checkout!
