Leon visit

This is a bare bones hostel in a central location in Leon convenient to the cathedral and historic center. It was fine for us. We had private rooms. The walls were thin, so it was noisier than most hotels, but the rooms were clean and inexpensive. The staff was only at the desk until 4 pm which could be a problem for someone without cell/internet to obtain the access code. Good for budget single or family travel (private rooms with baths accommodating 3 or 4 people available).

Nice hotel. Really helpful staff. No breakfast included but can get it on partered hotel 10 minutes walk distance.

Hard to find and noisy

No staff around, ever
Posted May 29, 2015 on ExpediaThis hostel was nicer than most. The location was perfect for attractions in Leon. The private room was clean but small, bathroom adequate. Our biggest complaint was the obnoxious security system to get in when arriving late. NO staff to greet us, the email gave us the wrong entry code and we had to knock on the door for twenty minutes to get another guest to let us in. The room door lock would jam and we even had trouble getting out of the room at times. We never saw any staff to complain or ask for help! Overall, a good stay though.
