Big Horse Inn is a quiet clean place to stay. There is no one at the front desk at all. The rooms are too dark for me. There are no microwaves in the rooms. There are no towel hooks or bars near the showers. There are no reading lights in the rooms. There is no hot breakfast included just a few packages snacks at the front counter. I do like that the building is attached to Black Maple coffee which has food and beverages. I think a few tweaks to this hotel would raise my score.

Great motel

First thing i noticed besides the obvious country charm is it looked clean and comfortable from the loiby on down the hall. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Only thing would have made it better was coff in the room. But it was available in the lobby. Didnt notivmce the restaurant on the end of the building untin we were pulling back out on the highway or we'd have stopped in for breakfast. But the snack bars and such in the lobby were a nice touch. Will definitely stay again if we need a room in that area.

Clean & nice decor.
Good shower.
Comfy bed.
Self check in/out. Didn't see anyone at either.
After a long drive it would be good to have a coffee/tea machine.
No breakfast option.
Fridge is a bit noisy.

For being in such a rural setting, Big Horse Inn and Suites was outstanding. My room was nice and clean when I arrived. The owner was present every day and both her and her helpers were very accommodating. I will definitely use this lodging again.
