You won’t get what you paid for

Not polite front desk staff is just the tip of the issues my husband and I encountered on our trip. We decided the room we originally had wasn’t what we wanted. So we booked at paradise for a lot more money than where we had a reservation. We didn’t get the room we reserved, front desk wasn’t helpful. I really wish we wouldn’t have changed. The other room was bigger, cleaner, and actually gave us what we reserved with a smile.

I work the front desk at night. I do not remember having any issues with guest that night. Could it have been possible that you were treated this way at the original hotel is booked first. Again, I am sorry you had to experience that.

Just basic

We have stayed this motel before. It was under different name. Last time we were on ground floor. This time we were on second floor, I don't kniw it made any differences. It was noisy. I can hear the conversation on hallway, from downstairs, outside. Amenities were minimum. They don't have coffee maker. Because of covid, there is no breakfast at all. Pillows were disappointing, no support what so ever. But bed was comfortable. It's along Hwy 101 but I didn't hear any traffic noise. Close to restaurants and shopping,beach access.

We have all been impacted due to Covid-19. Coffee makers are available at the front desk as the sign reads. It is a motel with numerous wonderful travelers and it can be noisy at times when they are bustling about. Thank you for staying at Paradise Inn & Suites!

Pleasant stay.

Very nice clean older place. I wished they had coffee in the morning I understand the no breakfast, well sort of, but coffee is not difficult to provide.

Booked on Hotels.com They took a 50 for possible damage 1 week later I am still waiting All I did was sleep Even left a big tip for housekeeping

Very clean room. The phone was disconnected and the tv remote barely worked. Required a $50 refundable deposit when I checked in because I paid online. No coffee in the room and no breakfast or coffee down stairs due to COVID.

So sorry you didn't notify us of your concerns. Refundable deposits are required under certain circumstances and is a standard practice for motels. A sign at the front desk advises coffee makers and coffee available at the front desk. Thank you for staying at Paradise Inn & Suites.

The staff was sweet and accommodating. However, the property itself was pretty run down. The rooms smelled like stale cigarettes, despite the "no smoking" signs on the doors. We were woken up one night by a warrior cry from a man being arrested by the police right outside of our window. We would have chosen a different location but everything else was sold out. Not the best experience but I guess you get what you pay for.

We receive many compliments on the cleanliness of the motel. Maintenance is performed daily. There is new carpeting, furniture including lamps, linen etc. Motels receive guests from all walks of life and different areas and as such there are times when their behavior is beyond our control. Stay somewhere else.

The lady at the front desk was very sweet. She explained that only one house keeper showed up, that was unfortunate. We got checked into our room. The dresser was filthy, dried food (or whatever) was stuck all over, salt was everywhere. There was dried feces all down the side of the toilet and the side of the bathtub. The room keys didn't work. The bed and pillows were hard as concrete. There were kids jumping and screaming all night and sketchy people in the parking lot all night. I'll pay the extra 80.00 for a much nicer room elsewhere next time.

You expressed one complaint which was remedied and you were very kind regarding that complaint. There was no feces all down the bathtub. You had the opportunity to request or be given a different room which you didn't request. You stated everything else was good. People in the parking lot are guests of this motel and not sketchy but just other guests.
