Very clean and well appointed ocean view room with gas fireplace at a very affordable price. Great value for the money.

My only complaint is, we specifically wanted a room with a fireplace, and our room was the only one on the entire property that had an out of order fireplace. It was our top criteria when booking, so that was a huge disappointment. We didn’t find out until we read on our check in paper on top corner once in our room. It wasn’t even verbalized to us at check in. The huge windows in front room do not open, so that was also a disappointment since we couldn’t get the fresh ocean breeze in. The views were phenomenal though! At least one T.V. in one of the bedrooms would have been nice but overall it was a comfortable stay.

This is my second time staying at Ester Lee. The view is what hooked me in. The price, convenience of beach access and affordable price was also a perk. A secret that I'm willing to share with others who want to stay in Lincoln City.

Love this place have been here twice and I love the space ,and the fact that they allow dogs in the cottages is amazing. Only thing I dislike is the shower, for being over $200 a night the least they can fix is the shower head.

Lovely views. Check in was easy and the staff was very welcoming. The room was not the one we chose on Expedia with the fireplace facing the surf. They have a sign in the lobby stating you can no longer request specific cottages anymore. It was still quite spacious and dog friendly. When we were unpacking, we found a dirty towel and clothing behind a couch. The stove had old food spills inbetween the counter and oven. I don't think it's being pulled out to clean. There were no dish rags or sponges, we requested some from the front who were nice. There's salt, pepper and dishes for 4. Just the basics and that's fine. I wanted to tell them at check out about the issues we had in total, but the front desk was very busy on calls, took my keys and thanked me for staying and went back to their call before i could say anything. I think we just hit the Ester Lee at a bad time. We loved staying there in the past but dirty clothing and food stuck to appliances was frustrating.

Retro cottage, amazing view of the ocean, my fav !

We come here every year and stay about 5 nights. I am a senior and grew up in homes that were built in the 1920s-50s. We LOVE the retro look when visiting the ocean. We love cottages over modern motel rooms. We have an amazing view of the ocean here, cable tv, internet, a separate bedroom, kitchen, table and chairs, sofa and accent chairs. It is our home away from home! Don’t complain if everything isn’t perfect, we are ok with the killer view making everything else not really matter! We will return again next year!

The cottage my wife and I stayed in had an eerie almost horror movie feeling nothing has been updated since we probably the 1970s definitely was not what we expected. My wife says. well the tv bed and chairs are updated. Id mention the heater no clean big enough mirror to see your self in that are clown mirrors distorting your face as you move.
