Not your average Hotel
Posted Feb. 28, 2024 on HotelsThe staff at the hotel were friendly and professional. My flight arrived in the morning and I was hoping to check in earlier. Front desk staff, Sam, was able to check me in on the 1st floor, facing the street. I could hardly hear the traffic since the room as pretty much sound proof. WiFi was great. Night staff George and Chris were so helpful. Drinks at the bar were delicious. Big thanks to all the staff for taking good care of me. This hotel is not your usual Interconn or W where you have dedicated work space in your room, or business facilities. Anyone walking from the street can hold meetings or work in the lobby. It got a bit contentious looking for work space. However, ask any of the staff to find you an empty seat, if you don't mind working away whilst listening to other people's private conversation lol. Overall, I had a great time staying at the Hoxton. Chinatown is within walking distance, it's very pedestrian friendly. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. And if you get the munchies even at 4am, there's Uber Eats or the Chicken Hut right across the street from the Hoxton.

Sense of calm
Posted Feb. 18, 2024 on HotelsThere was chill out music playing on the Robert’s radio on arrival in our room and from that moment the scene was set for our stay. The hotel had a very chilled out vibe in all areas especially the bar and restaurant area. I’m sure it’s not as easy as it looks to create this feel but whatever the energy, it works. Thankyou to the creators and staff at this hotel for a truly lovely few days of peace and chill.
And also to say the situation of the hotel to explore central London is totally perfect 👌
