Not a great experience for me, nice hotel but..
Posted Feb. 28, 2024 on HotelsA building site literally outside my bedroom window, woke me up hammering at 7:30am.
No hot water,
Told to wait for an hour for the hot water to be sorted, it wasn’t, had to go all the way across the hotel for a shower in another room
Said I wanted a refund they told me to sort it with hotels.com, I spent some time trying to do this, but couldn’t so I pushed back on this and then they did issue a refund.

Definitely will stay again.

Watch out for parking charge.

Very comfortable hotel

The staff were also great and welcoming.

It was a lovely clean, comfortable hotel but no lift. It was good to have tea and coffee-making possible in the room, as well as bottled mineral water and a small fridge with mini-bar, but I would have appreciated a half-pint of fresh milk and more choice of herbal tea (eg camomile, lemon&ginger, and nettle).
