There is a private outdoor area with gas fire pits. It was nice but not in great shape as far as having knobs to turn on the fires and equipment. If you have allergies like I do, you will deal with previous animal dander due to marginal cleaning. Overall it’s a fair to good property.

I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel is quite similar any average lodging around the area. There is no free parking available near Homewood suites. Maid service to your room is every alternate day, which is good. If you need maid service everyday it is charged, if you need anything like wifi, in the hotel it is charged. The only thing that is not charged so far is air we breath. I would recommend to do thorough research before booking here.

ReemaI know you spoke with the front desk at check out, and hope we were able to clear up some confusion you had. Yes, housekeeping is every other day standard but it is available daily for no charge, we are sorry you thought that was the case when we told you service was every other day. I know you mentioned you did use the complimentary wifi so we are glad that worked out for you. There is premium wifi access for a small fee but the majority of the guests like yourself use the complimentary standard wifi. As we mentioned unfortunately being in a downtown location all of the parking is city owned and there is a charge that is not in our control. We are truly sorry our hotel did not live up to your expectations, but hope we were able to clear up some confusion about our services.

Everything was good. We had to keep asking for more towels. The parking lot had very tight spaces. Only place that was referred to eat was a burger place close by. We got tired of eating burgers. Staff was very friendly.

I'm sorry someone wasn't able to refer you to any other places to eat as there are several great places downtown. We are always happy to provide more towels just let us know next time and we can get you as many as you need, I know traveling with small children can sometimes require extra towels. Next time your travels bring you to Louisville I hope you will come back so we can make your stay 5 stars

Homewood Suites Downtown Louisville

Everyone at the front desk was professional and courteous. Staff for the breakfast was efficient and food never ran short. The cleaning staff was friendly when met them in the hallway. Overall, service was excellent.

Great location for our trip. Excellent service and amenities, and comfortable beds. Large food selection for breakfast. Will book again next year.

Enjoyed close proximity to attractions like Louisville Slugger. Breakfast was above average. For a family of 5, the room size was great.
