Almost perfect hotel in perfect location!
Posted Dec. 16, 2023 on HotelsReally recommend this hotel. Perfect location in Lyon, Valet parking (€30/night). Lovely lobby and entrance, meeting 5 star expectations. Very friendly, capable and professional staff too! Location was as good as we could expect. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, with clean and comfortable rooms. Our only constructive criticism would be that the rooms feel a little tired (4 star standard) but it is obvious that Sofitel plan to address this, based on the incredible refurbished lobby. Furthermore, complimentary minibar (water, soft drinks and nuts) more than made-up for this. I will stay here again on our next trip to Lyon.
