Staff was very friendly and helpful. The building was on the older side and the room was smallish, but well-kept and clean. Biggest complaint is the noise - while the balcony afforded a view of the valley, it was right at the base of the bridge that crossed the river, and every loud motorcycle, diesel pickup truck and semi seemed to generate as much noise as possible coming into or going out of town.

Nice property for a visit to Madison and some hiking at Clifty Falls. Easy walk into town, reasonable price. Would stay here again.

It was wonderful!
Publié le 14 mars 2024 sur HotelsWhat are wonderful hotel! We went for Valentine’s Day and were not disappointed. We got the suite that had the Jacuzzi hot tub and the fireplace. It was perfect! We had a wonderful balcony that looked over the river and the town. The room had everything we needed and was clean and cozy. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast, nothing special, but just fine. We brought our breakfast up to our room, sat on the balcony and had our breakfast there. It was a beautiful morning. The woman at the front desk was lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, it was wonderful.

For the price it was adequate. View of the Ohio River—which was what we wanted—was quite nice. We unplugged the refrigerator due to its noise, and then it was quiet.
