I felt so welcome by the staff, especially Princess. The room is beautiful and clean and it’s not rowdy.

The buttons to function the blinds in the hotel room seems like a useless investment. There was no toothpaste provided. And there as an automatic light that couldn’t decide if it was on or off. The bathroom was too much white blue light and harsh. And there was a bottle cap on the floor when I first came in. The Netflix app kept glitching. The staff were friendly, I got a slice of pie for pi day. The bedsheets seemed relatively clean.

Hi Madison,Thank you for staying at Hilton Garden Inn Madison Downtown for your recent visit! I appreciate you taking time to share a review of your experience. The buttons for the blinds are kind of odd aren't they? The room you were in is actually an accessible room, so the buttons for the blinds are actually designed to accommodate folks in wheelchairs. It's a nifty design, as the HVAC unit does not allow easy access to the window shade controls for some of our guests. The switches are positioned in a spot easier to access for all guests in our accessible rooms. Hilton Garden Inns do not provide toothpaste in the guest rooms, but we do offer toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, lotion, slippers, and deodorant at the front desk upon request. I am one of those people that inevitably forgets something in my bathroom kit and appreciate we provide them! The lighting inside the entry of the room is switched. You can turn the light off if you wish, but it's also on an occupancy sensor and turns off when motion is not detected in the room. Our maintenance team will be checking that out though. We want to make sure it's not faulty in any way. While in the room, they will be checking the bathroom light to assure there is nothing amiss and check on the Netflix app. I can assure you our housekeeping team changes the sheets and duvet cover at every check out with freshly laundered linen. Overlooking that bottle cap is a bummer for sure. Thanks for letting us know so we can work with our inspectors to keep an eye out. Please reach out to me at the hotel if you have a chance. Amazing location especially if you have students in Witte, Ogg, Smith etc. Great value and brand new facilities as well.

Everything was in order. Room was very clean. Was in the dining area - they did the best they could with a huge concert crowd next door.
