This property is falling apart. Clear signs of disrepair on the outside. The parking lot was empty and the building almost looked derelict. When we tried to call the front desk to cancel our reservation, our call was forwarded to voicemail, but the voicemail box was full, so we were unable to speak with a staff member.

Wow! For a Super 8, this property was great! Bed and pillows were dreamy, another person in my party describes the beds as "bouncy," but I like a soft bed. The pillows weren't flat, not too soft, not too hard. Shower was hot, had great pressure, and the drain actually drained! I will say, the biggest drawback is that the walls are paper-thin, I could hear the person in the next room taking a whiz...granted, I was in an adjoining room (although I didn't know that other party and the door was closed and locked). Even so, I slept great! Everyone at the desk (I assume the owner and his family), were very friendly and offered some great dining options - we went to The Brewhouse (down a couple of blocks) and it was fantastic, both service and food (we had walleye and Irish egg rolls). If I were to visit the area again, I would definitely stay here again.
