The room was beautiful, giant king bed in own bedroom, nice big jetted tub in bathroom and everything u needed in the kitchen to cook your own meals and keep from eating out. Balcony was nice. 5 to 6 minute walk to parliament hill and 10 minutes to rideau mall. Only bad thing i csn say is mornings can be loud with garbage trucks.

Quiet and pretty. A nice place to stay.

We checked in before the party we went to the party we were attending in case we were late to check in, No one was there and we called the number on the window and no one answered. We decided to leave and as we were leaving the employee of the Motel was pulling in and flagged us down so we went back in to check in. It took a little time as they did not have WIFI or correct forms. The rooms were not ready so we were told that he would text us and leave the keys in the lockbox, We did not hear back from him so we decided to drive home. We received the text with the info after it was too late.

Hi Toni,I am very sorry for the misunderstanding and that you weren't able to enjoy a night at our motel. When you arrived, it was 11am and we had just had several checkouts that morning, so we needed time to turn the rooms over and get them ready for you as our check in time is normally 4pm. The WiFi was down, which did lead to a longer check in process, so I do apologize for that. That issue has since been resolved and our WiFi is back up and running again. From what I understood, you were going to a party and would be returning to the motel once the party was over, but weren't sure what time that would be, so I said that if you were back after hours then I would leave the keys in the lockbox for you and text you the information. My shift ended at 6pm and since you hadn't returned, I texted you the lockbox information for check in and then headed out. Our checkin hours are normally 4pm-6pm so I didn't think that would be too late. Our phone number is on our front window and on the sign in front of the motel, as well as online, so I had assumed that you would call us if you had any concerns or even come by the motel once your event was over as I was there on site all day. I will admit I was a little confused when you didn't show up without reaching out, as I thought I was clear that I just needed time to prepare your rooms and that they'd be ready soon. Our rooms are always ready for scheduled bookings by the 4pm-6pm check in window. I am sorry that you had to drive back home the same night, and if you choose to stay with us again I promise to offer you a much more pleasant and stream lined experience. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again. I hope the party was fun at least! Take care
