Beautiful welcoming stay in a spectacular house
Publié le 21 janv. 2024 sur HotelsSuch a lovely stay with the added personal touch from all staff. The house is beautiful and Sean gave us a tour around with great knowledge of the history. We were able to order from either bar menu or restaurant menu and food was amazing. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails after dinner in the small cosy bar were Valerie was very attentive. Bedroom was gorgeous and breakfast was so good the next morning. All in all we had such a welcoming stay for one night in a spectacular house steeped in history

Ardtara is a wonderful, unique gem of a hotel. Full of individual charm and character, with spacious well-equipped rooms, common areas and marvelous gardens, all set against a backdrop of silent Irish countryside. The food is marvelous and the restaurant serves excellent local produce, cooked and served to perfection. Above all the team makes any stay at Ardtara feel special. Sean and Lee Anne made us feel genuinely welcome and the warmth, courtesy and professionalism of all the staff really add the 5th star to our 5 star rating!

We had a super stay at Ardtara on the 13th September. Leanne greeted us on arrival & we were so impressed with her friendliness & knowledge. Lovely rooms, very quiet, just what we needed. Stunning location. Breakfast was just right. Plenty of selection. The man who served us was v cheerful & chatty even though he seemed v busy.
I would thoroughly recommend & definitely be back in Winter when we can avail of fire in our room.
