Lovely stay
Posted Mar. 20, 2024 on HotelsWe loved the hotel, the rooms were spacious and the lounge area and hotel grounds amazing and very tasteful. If we had time I would have liked to have used the pool and spa, so maybe another time.

Our only negative comment on our stay was that the TV stations available were very limited as we were not in a position to access internet TV, even full Freeview stations were accessible.

Friendly people, very clean, only there about 9 hours en route to the channel tunnel. Air conditioning did not work unable to switch on

We booked a king double room but were given twin beds pushed together which was totally inappropriate as this left a narrow gap between bed and wall, a dip between beds and 2 headboards which didn’t align with the mattress…my husband has terminal cancer and this break was to revisit a place we had shared previously and really enjoyed. We booked a table for a meal which took over an hour to serve, by which time we left the restaurant. However the hotel was lovely and the staff were amazing, we couldn’t fault the professional way our issues were dealt with and would stay again, thankyou to all the staff for their help in unfortunate circumstances!

I went for a professional event, and took my kids with me.
The check in was quick and smooth.
The staff was very kind and professional.
Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to enjoy all the facilities, but I would definitely would come back for a leisure weekend.
