Comfort and value ffor money.

Conveniently close to Manchester Piccadilly station (if you can get out on the right side and if the lifts are working). Very large rooms and bathrooms. Corridors a bit the worse for wear. Excellent breakfast. Desk staff friendly but not exactly efficient--there are long queues. Good value for money.

Not yet up to the expected Marriot standard

Due to extensive refurbishment work, we were given an update however it was disappointing as the temperature control couldn’t be turned down as the room was roasting at times, and there was no power in part of the room which resulted in no fridge or kettle working. To get kettle working had to use socket close to the floor which wasn’t ideal. Breakfast was ok, plates were cold as was the temporary restaurant and the toaster wasn’t functioning well either
