Excellent oasis given Manchester's non stop construction. A rocking bar of sorts in front of the property as well to enjoy. The staff was excellent and stepping into the foyer was welcoming and warm. Room was great as were the amenities. Neat microwave and convection oven combo but the controls were confusing. The property might think of a simple guide to help. The microwave stank of fish and was overpowering in a foul smell even if it looked clean. There were guests clearly smoking pot and the poor staff were trying to enforce the rules but what are they supposed to do? Felt sorry for them trying to tell the guest to cease and call security. Overall I would recommend the place for their service and really good rooms.

A brilliant find!

Woukd defo recommend. Clean and modern. We stayed in room 804, top floor. Very quiet rooms. Couldn't even hear anyone in livingroom when in bedroom. Great shower. All fuly fitted kitchen facilities. Short 10 min walk into main city and parking 1 min walk in Euro Car park is only £7 for 24hrs if require it. Closer to Manchester Victoria. Puzza 24hr service too in hotel.

Small and mediocre

Very small compared to the other stay city in Manchester. Apparently we were meant to check in online before we arrived but were never told that, took ages to book in, have to use key card to get in lift which was a bit of a faff. Be careful using the kitchen, using the oven made the fire alarms go off , followed promptly by basil faulty running in and wafting the smoke detectors

Good Evening Clare! Thank you for leaving review. As we are a different property, we have different room types compared to our other site. All of our guests should receive information to complete the online check-in before they arrive so I do apologise that you did not receive the link however all staycity property's do require you to check in online. I will be making sure to contact Hotels.com in order to make sure they are sending our guest the right information before they check in. To keep you and other guests safe, our lifts can only be called by scanning your key card which is a safety feature in all our property's. As we are in the busy city centre, we use every precaution we can to ensure everyone's safety and that only guests are allowed past the lobby. Because we have kitchens in all our rooms, our smoke and fire detectors have to be more sensitive than usual incase of an emergency event which is why the alarm sounded as something had burnt in your room. However, I do not appreciate the negative comment made about our staff, who was trying his hardest to stop the smoke as our building had gone into full evacuation mode and had caused all of our guests to evacuate the building.
