Avis Beachfront Villas with Private Infinity Pool

A fabulous stay. Private and beautiful. Amazing pool. Amazing service. Food was good and fairly priced.

Our family of 5 stayed in Villa Melaya during second half of June 2016. Primary purpose of the stay was to relax - and in that respect we got exactly that; Big nice pool, excellent staff, adequate facilities to cater for ourselves, etc. Being close to the beach, there was always a small breeze ensuring a comfortable temperature. Travelling with 3 boys is also a challenge... hence the large garden and relatively private location was a great bonus, we didn't bother anyone, and noone bothered us - nice! The villa is one of 3 - we stayed in the one furthest "north" - If I were to go again, I would however opt for the middle, or south Villa, as our closest neighbours had an over-achieving rooster, seeming to be a bit out of sync with the rest of the world. Didn't bother us much, but it may bother others...Also be aware that although close to the Bali barat National Park, there isn't much else going on. Perfect for family relaxing, but if you are looking for action in the immediate vincinity - look elsewhere. The nearest centres are about 20-30 min. drive, so no problem to get out for a dinner etc. but you have to get a driver. On the other hand, the location is really close to the national park which offers several attractions, and also close to Menjangan Island which is nice for snorkeling. Just make sure you get Nono as a guide and Dodik to drive you there, and you're off. Maria at the villa will arrange everything.
