Small but comfortable home. It contains a fully functional kitchen with basic seasoning, herbs and cooking oil. Did not realise it shares the fence with a funeral home which didn’t bother us but it bothered my Asian parents. The host, Lucy, is pleasant and responsive. Appreciate the thoughtful touches such as hand made soap from the Yarra Valley region.

Lucy’s is number 1 in every way!

We had the best stay at Lucy’s! The house was amazing... it was so comfortable & cozy with plenty of options for heating (ducted, open fire plus oil heaters. Lucy has thought of every comfort to make for a perfect stay. There was two coffee machines,Netflix and even local handmade soap! The level of cleanliness was beyond perfect! The location was fantastic within walking distance to aldi, many restaurants and coffee shops and basically across the road from four pillars gin distillery. We didn’t want to leave. Thanks Lucy you have helped us have the best weekend ever

Lucys luxary cottage is lovely upon arrival although there were a few dissapointments. When booking this accomodation i was prompted that payment on arrival was excepted, but much to my suprise my booking was very close to being canceled by the owner due to not making payment the day before we planned to arrive. Parking was not very accodating, we took 2 cars and struggled to park both. In the cottage listing, it advises that a free continental brealfast was provided but sadly we only recieved some dry ceral - that looked like it had been in the jar for awhile and some coffee which would of been great if there was milk. The fire place's were beautiful however there was nothing provided to start the fire and being situated on quiet a busy road made it very hard to aquire kindeling or anything like that. Finally, there was a consistent beeping noise that we could not source to silence. As stated, its a beautiful little cottage, just not what expected.

We are humble and grateful that most of our guests are respectful, taking great care of the property. This group is somehow different, we had no luck it seems their credit card is invalid so had to contact her a few times. We are working very hard to provide quality homes in this area. Cottage always offers one car park for free.Street parking is perfectly fine. Coffee, chocolate, wine are extras we always make sure they are fresh and within expiry days. Anyway, we thank you very much for staying with us. Best regards

So cosy and warm in the middle of winter. The open fireplace was lovely. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well-equipped. We'd love to stay again.

The property was really lovely, clean, close to shops and across the road from the fabulous Four Pillars. The owner Lucy was gorgeous, helpful and responsive. We loved our stay and would definitely consider staying again!

Great house in beautiful location

Posted Nov. 1, 2017 on Wotif
We had a wonderful stay at Lucy's Cottage for our girls weekend away. The house had everything we needed and was spotless. The included bed linen and towels was a bonus. Only thing I would change is more single beds instead of all queen/king. Lucy was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and peaceful

Posted Jul. 21, 2017 on Expedia
Pros: The kitchen, dining area and living room was nice and clean.
Cons: The parking, better instructions about checking in, use of parking space.
Location: The location was great. Walking distance from 4 pillars distillery and local shops.
We stayed at Lucy's cottage for a girl's weekend. The place was hard to find. We had a rocky start because we had NO instructions about how to check in and didn't have the keys to the cottage. We had to call the owner on the night to find out what was going on as there was no staff on site. There was not enough parking and though we could easily have parked outside the garage, without blocking other holidayers, we were asked to move our car -> this seemed very unnecessary. The place itself was nice and clean. Had a very small selection of movies. Was walking distance from local shops and the 4 pillars distillery. It had plenty of room for 7 of us staying the 2 nights and the kitchen was well supplied with equipment we needed to cook at home. The rooms itself were clean but the beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. They were hard as rocks and we could feel the springs through the mattresses, which resulted in awful nights sleeps. Neither myself or my girlfriends would stay there again but overall 6/10 rating.

Convenient and cosy cottage

Posted Jun. 25, 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Family friendly; close to town; comfortable; lovely host; beautiful rooms
Cons: Double glazing windows in the front rooms to diminish the sound.
Location: 4 Pillars Distillery; Healesville Sanctuary; Yarra Valley Wineries
We had a lovely stay at Lucy's Cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable and Lucy was a delightful host. The close proximity to Healesville Town - with the 4 Pillars Distillery almost directly across the road made this an extremely convenient place to stay. There was a great deal of thought put into hosting us which was evident - even down to the detail of the terrific selection of DVDs! The only downside is the positioning to the Highway which impeded an afternoon nap (for our bub) and sleep in for those of us in the front rooms. Overnight, however, it was not an issue in the sleepy hollow that is Healesville- we could not hear a thing!
