The receptionist was incredibly rude and laughed at us when we explained the construction noise had become unbearable after three days we wanted one night refunded so we could go somewhere else; she pretended to call a manager then told me to contact my travel agency when my travel agency contacted her she would not provide her name or a way to get in touch with the manager - I have not asked for a manager in twelve years - this place needs to retrain their front desk staff before they lose customers - we will never return and we will not reccomend

Hello, we are sorry to read that your experience at Art 57 was affected. Our staff is properly trained to make feel everyone warmly welcome. We know for a fact that no construction is happening nearby nor the surroundings of the bulding, since we didn't get any complaints from other guests, we are nor sure about what may have happend. No noises were reported in the past days or further back.We assure you that our agent didn't laugh, our crew is always smiling at guests and happy to help at any time; we are sure this was a misunderstanding and we are sorry if it was misread. We could see through the recordings that our clerk was always professional and kept manners at all time.Unfortunately, our staff isn't allowed to provide internal or sensitive information; all agencies working with us have our contact info for any issue to be attended.We wish you better luck on your next stay, we will keep providing excellent services to our guests as always!

Average room, clean, good beds, nice bathroom. Breakfast is limited to fruit plate, yogurt with granola, toast, coffee. Pay 60 pesos extra for scrambled eggs and ham (no other choice). Pay 100 pesos extra for parking. Front desk staff Nadia) was very helpful and nice.

I had an amazing experience at Art 57 Hotel! The place is small and cozy, decorated with vibrant colours and has an attractive pool. Its location in downtown Merida made it convenient for me to explore all the main tourist areas, including Paseo Montejo.
Throughout my six-night stay, I enjoyed a complimentary continental breakfast every morning, and my room was always clean, spacious, and well-equipped with air conditioning. The hotel staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to assist if needed.
However, I would recommend choosing a room that is not located near the lobby. Every morning, there was some noise from staff coming in and out of the building, which can be a bit disturbing for some guests.

A cute little hotel. Our room was small with no where to hang anything but they do have larger rooms. Easy access to centro.

Good stay in a great city!
Posted Oct. 31, 2023 on HotelsGreat stay 3 blocks from the Centro and very quiet. Room was nice and the bed was comfy, although not the comfiest. Our little dipping pool was an added plus and breakfast was good and filling. All the staff were very helpful. Good value for the dollar.

Place is a bit dated our cover for the bed had holes , the room smells wet , like a mold smell , shower makes the whole floor in the bathroom wet because the way the shower was built
