The good: there was hot water, the bed was comfortable, room was quiet and no visible roaches. Correction, yes there are roaches. The bad: everything else. Beginning with the fire engine and cops blocking the entrance when we arrived. Then the two attendants (they were nice) behind what appeared to be bullet proof glass but maybe it was a leftover covid screen. Checked in and went to the single working elevator with one nice couple and one person clearly on some kind of drugs. Got to the room, it was hot so we turned on the AC. Either all or all off so after a while we got cold. There's nothing to eat in the hotel and the neighborhood looked unsafe so we thought we'd just get a coke or two for our dinner. There was a big coke machine in the hallway but everything was sold out so we risked drinking the water. In the morning there was no breakfast even though it was advertised. Actually I wouldn't want to eat anything they make in these conditions. Except for the coffee packs they have in the room those were good.
Bottom line. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Travelocity, Ramada and Wyndham should be ashamed of having their names associated with this property. No more Ramada or Wyndhams for me they are untrustworthy brands.

Mr. Pacheco,I believe you have reviewed the incorrect hotel. It seems as though you were trying to review a Ramada hotel. Here at LaQuinta Inns & Suites Middletown NY we do not have covid screens or "bullet proof" glass at the front desk. We have two elevators in the lobby that both are in service. We do not have any coke vending machines rather a small market next to our front desk. We serve a full continental breakfast each morning from 7am-10am as well. We have never experienced a problem with "roaches" or any other pests. We are sorry that you did have an poor experience while staying in a Wyndham property however the hotel you are describing does not meet the description of LaQuinta in Middletown NY.

The entire staff from front desk to housekeeping went above and beyond to assist us in our stay. We had an issue with something left in the room and they were wonderful in contacting us an arranging getting the property back to us.
Nicole at the front desk was wonderful in helping us out.

Staff was very friendly and we loved the comfortable bedding, the room overall was amazing and I'll definitely be coming back soon!
