Every time we go out to vacation in California, we love staying at the Ayres. We’ve stayed at pretty much all of them in the Orange County area except for this one, so we decided to try it out, even though it was further out. No regrets! This location has much better parking than other locations. Property was clean, staff was friendly, area was really safe. We will definitely come back to this one.

Loud clicking sound in the room throughout night

The only reason for out low rating is due to an annoying sound throughout the night. We couldn’t figure out what is was and it kept us from sleeping through out the night. To me it sounded like someone was flipping the light switch on and off. My husband thought it was either the bed creaking or the mini fridge making the sound. My son thought it was the air conditioner making the sound. What made the sound especially frustrating was that it didn’t have a pattern. It would stop for long periods of time, and as soon as we started dosing off it would start up again. We all had a horrible night of sleep.

When I got to my room the refrigerator wasn't working. They immediately sent up a maintenance technician who replaced it. Easy!

Our room had ants crawling around in the bathroom, sink area, and sink by coffee maker. Twice maintenance came and sprayed something and wiped it away with the dead ants. They returned after each time. The breakfast area was very nice and breakfast was wonderful.
