Adorable house in the country

Perfect Homestead!
Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayI rented this property for a mini get-away for my adult daughters and me. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Great layout for socializing but bedrooms were far enough away if you wanted to go to bed early you had peace and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed- even spices, soap, dishwasher tabs, etc. Nice surprise- usually there are a few dishes and pans. The pond was full of bluegill and bass and there was a fenced yard for my daughter’s dogs. Owner was super nice and accommodating. 5 stars! Will definitely book again.

Hocking Hills Trip
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came to explore the Hocking Hills attractions. We enjoyed our stay at this house. We had a few things we needed help from our host. They were very responsive by phone, asked if they could come over to explain and came right over. We would stay here again!!!

Visiting Family
Publié le 30 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis old Farmhouse was very nice and spacious & fit our family of 10 perfectly ,while we were in town visiting other family.
It was cozy with alot of charm & smelled very nice . The Air condtioning worked great ,the while house was nice and cool. Also the beds were very comfortable, plenty of dishes ,crockpot ,spices, some condiments in fridge, pet cables/scooper , hot tub worked great, firewood on site to purchase as well. We really enjoyed the place and it was short walking distance to the trails and fishing pond. We caught quite a few fish!. The owners were very prompt replying back to any questions we had. We would defiantly bring our family here again! Thankyou

Nice family getaway
Publié le 5 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family enjoyed our time at the Homestead. We spent a lot of time outside at the fire pit, exploring the hiking trails and fishing at the pond. The house could use some updates like a new master mattress and windows upstairs to keep the stink bugs and lady bugs out. They were everywhere. Overall, we had a great time!

Thank you Rebecca! The master mattress has a thick mattress topper on top, that can be removed if needed. New windows upstairs are also on our list to replace at some point. We will have new flooring on the porches, in the next few weeks also.

Family Trip
Publié le 31 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at Homestead! There was more than enough space for me, my grown son, two teens, a nine year old, and two dogs. The fenced in back yard was great! We were able to sit around and enjoy the fire and not worry about the pups running off after a critter or something. The kids enjoyed exploring the trails and the fishing pond. The kitchen was great for preparing meals. The table was perfect for family board games. The location was very good for visiting the caves and still close enough to town that we were able to make quickish runs to the store if we needed to. Honestly, I could go on and on. Check-in and check-out were both very easy. It was over all a very relaxing time.

Girls' Cabin Weekend!

So relaxing!
Publié le 18 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is our 2nd year staying at the Homestead. The cabin is very clean, beds are so comfortable and plenty of room! The property is great to walk around and the hot tub feels great on a winters day. The owners are fabulous... the toilet handle broke and they took care of it immediately! We will def be back again.
