Old hotel not well maintained. Rooms are old and need repairs and to be refreshed. Looks like on the pics but not really. Bed sheets were suspicious, persistent bad smell of old humid carpet or filhty mop in room. Carpet looks clean but is defenitely very dirtry. Took off my socks to go to shower and 20 footsteps and 10 seconds after my feet were brown under!! Very old and dirty bathroom from the 70's with moisture and rust in the shower, paint falling apart from the shower wall. Ventilation is the worst. Health hasard, probably not cleaned for a few years or probably for a decade. See pics attached. Service is average. At airport, had to call hotel 2 times and they made me wait 24 minutes on hold the second time before answering me ("sorry I didn't think you would still be there after all that time!!") so I could get a shuttle to the hotel which took another 20 minutes to arrive. At checkout, asked to leave our 2 main luggages at front desk for 20 minutes so I could run to Walmart to get 2-3 things we needed for the cruise but they refused after us spending 2 nights there at almost $300 per night. Had to walk 12 minutes to go and 12 to come back with our 4 luggages in the big sun and humidity to go to the store walking thrue half destroyed sidewalks (see pics). Will never go back. Look at Home2 by Hilton near by which is modern, extremely clean. Two extreme opposites for the same price.

street undergoing construction --- direct access to hotel blocked and had to make a detour / parking is not free --- you have to pay for parking

Paid parking --- additional charge not flagged during booking / took more than 20 minutes waiting on other guests as only one person checking in guest --- five guests waiting --- second receptionist arrive only after fifteen minutes and took a long time to set up before accepting the next guest Room more than made up for the negative experience during checkin --- bed clean and comfortable

I you can avoid staying there, please do so. The place is falling apart, need major renovations. The room was extremely outdated. The bathroom, especially the tub was disgusting, there was mold on the corners and all around the soap dish, and the tub was grey. I took it upon my self to go the store spent $30 worth of cleaning supplies and scented products and cleaned it my self. The hallway smelled like weed the whole time, it was horrible. Needless to say that never again!
