Nice, but nope...
Posted Mar. 7, 2024 on HotelsGreat hotel, but will not be back as they charge a resort fee and for what? They did not tell us that there was coffee in the lobby in the morning, that you could use their bikes at no charge and they do not even have a restaurant nor a bar as stated on their website. We did not get one thing for the resort fee and the hotel is off the beaten path and not close to much.

Great Stay
Posted Mar. 4, 2024 on HotelsThe rooms were large and the floor to ceiling windows revealed a beautiful view of the Intrepid and Hudson River. We would have preferred a coffee maker already to have been in our room but when requested, one was brought right up and there was hot coffee available in the hotel lobby. The lights were a little tricky to navigate, but worked once you got the hang of them. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very well appointed. The views were great.

One word: nasty. Smelled like smoke, carpet was stained and burned, and room was not clean.

Small and intimate boutique hotel, which doesn’t surprise me, because we’ve also stayed at the Klimpton property in Salt Lake City to attend a concert a couple of times
The staff at this hotel are genuinely warm and kind, doesn’t depend on which of the crew is on, they are always ready to answer questions and assist
I highly recommend the location if you wanted to attend Broadway shows, eat at some wonderful, dining, restaurants, or just walk the city

The restaurant and bar are closed until June. No onsite food or beverages except for coffee and tea in the morning. The closest thing is a deli a block away. I wasn't aware of it until I was onsite. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful however.
