Very nice hotel. staff was helpful, comfortable room and bed, great shower, very nice breakfast options. Also it was a great location.

Everything you need

We loved everything about this Hotel. It was convenient walking distance to many popular areas. The Bar/Lounge is amazing atmosphere, food, drinks and service. You feel like you are vacation in every aspect.

Valet parking was awful, it took the an hour and twenty minutes to get our car. Staff was just ok, no sense of urgency. Restaurant is closed for breakfast. Got a coffee and a breakfast sandwich in an overcrowded cafe. Not good

Beautiful!

Finding a hotel this beautiful within our price range felt like a huge score! The lobby is gorgeous; the room was cozy; breakfast is simple and efficient but quite good; and everyone was very nice. There’s a nice mix of restaurants around (good range of price points) and we were able to walk to Penn Station, the Chelsea galleries, the High Line, and the McKittrick, which was why we were in town. I usually stay uptown, closer to friends and museums, but would be happy to stay at the Evelyn again because I’m a sucker for design that’s both beautiful and welcoming, and the Evelyn nails that.
