I stayed once for two nights and again 5 days later for 1 night. On my first stay, the refrigerator was dirty; there was no coffee in the room, no card with wifi code and our room was not made up or cleaned the second day of our stay. The woman working was as the waitress/front desk was just filling in for someone who was not able to work - she knew nothing and had to call out to someone for the wifi info. The room key fell off the fob in the parking lot ( had to hunt with our phone flashlights to find it) because the jet was attached with a curved piece of wire that did not close. Oh, the ice maker was not working. The second time we stayed, ( in a different room) the refrigerator froze our food, there was no plug for the tub or sink, the window blind was badly broken and the coffee caraf did not fit properly under the coffeemaker. There are no lights outside on the stairs going up to the rooms, nor are the lights by each room’s entrance creating a safety hazard. Ice maker still not working. The day we checked out on the second visit, the owner contacted me about coffee/grinds that had spilt on the counter and stained it. She was looking for restitution. I was very annoyed because we would not have spilt coffee had the coffee caraf been the proper one/size for the coffee maker… I I formed her that comet would take out the coffee stains so restitution was not required. On the up side, the beds were comfortable and an attempt was made for a coordinated decor theme…

Hi SuzanneThank you for your feedback.In response to your feedback.As stated there is no 24 hr front desk . As stated if you need things you pop into the restaurant. The Wifi password was not in your room. Not that catastrophic as you did retrieve it from the wait staff. No she didnt have it memorized and called me. Should you need coffee more shampoo towels etc you simply ask. All will be provided. The magnet inside steel door gets moved to outside of door should HK be requested. Publuc health has advised since Covid we do not enter rooms without consent. The magnet gives consent. We are a 5 unit motel. The motel doesnt have an ice machine nor a spot to store one. Perhaps you aren't familiar with a well that runs the house entire restaurant housekeeping facilities amd motel. Well water is very hard on a ice machine. The previous owners went through 3. Ours is brand new. It needs serviced from Quebec as again it needs special filters to accommodate well water. The fridges are new and have temperature gauges. The previous guests perhaps had it up..The keys are custom made. Apologies if the key fell in the parking lot.There are 2 streetlight size lights in parking lot. They are on timers. The lights on restaurant roof also on timers. One is in front of room 1 the other at entrance of parking lot. You had said you had no coffee filters. Had you opened the coffee provided and not used your own you would have found the filter in the pouch. The carafe does belong under that maker.You chose to use coffee from home instead resulting in a overflowing mess staining counters. We were wondering why you didnt ask for paper towels ? Or us to help as we would have. I am unsure if so unhappy on 1st visit why return 5 days later..Cheers Roberta
