Disappointed and Disgusted

Was there for my grandson‘s operation who is only three months old. I was already stressed to begin with. I get to my room there’s no refrigerator. I had to ask for one. I had asked them for extra blankets in the beginning I didn’t get those either. Toilet seat was broken in the bathroom, and by the next morning, I had a colony of ants all in the bathroom. I left my room to go and let them know about what was going on. They didn’t seem interested or just didn’t care. I had to pay an extra charge for my daughter to have breakfast. This is the Crowne Plaza. You would think they would have more respect for themselves and the hotel. The whole ordeal was hideous. It was the worst place I have ever stayed. Unfortunately, I had already paid for the four days to stay there and I was too exhausted to find another place to stay as my grandson. Surgery was the next day. I will never again stay there and to top it all off. It was my birthday, and I thought it would be a nice gift to stay at a nice hotel for myself. Apparently I was wrong.

The entire hotel is in pretty rough shape. Room was dirty. My room stunk like greasy food. A bunch of the gym equipment was broken/ missing. The restaurant is no longer open after breakfast. This was the worst crown plaza I’ve ever been in.

Sadly not like we remember when we stayed at Crown back in 2015. We arrived and checked in which was good. We parked around the back where are rooms were and there was broken temper glass in the back. Made us nervous, glass looked pretty recent. There is no longer a bar downstairs. Seems like it's short staffed. Our TV remote was not working just needed batteries. Our rooms were ok, there were water bottles left behind from whoever used the rooms last. Have the pictures to show. We requested room service the second night for beds to be made and towels and bath items needed. NO SHOW. Requested again the third night but the towels were not refilled. Had to call to get towels and was told I needed to go down to go get them because there was no one available to bring them up. Sadly this place is really struggling and definitely not a 8/10. This place has become more like a 4/10. Towels were super stiff. Need some softener on the towels. There are cosmetic defects that need to be done to the inside as well. It's been run down and can use an update.
