Tiniest cabins in the world and the worst

Dear Rajani,Thank you for the time you have taken writing this review.We would have loved to have read a bit more on why you consider the cabins to be the worst. Regarding the size of the cabin, all guests can preview room sizes in the description before making the reservation in this platform (Expedia)Also, we have 4 different types of cabins and 2 different types of rooms so people can choose what fits better for them according to their preference or number of travelers.

Absolutely terrible stay. Stayed at the main house. This place is plagued with bed bugs, mosquitoes, and ants crawling through the walls. All of our family had bites and rashes all over. Had rodent droppings show up each day of our stay. Every morning we were greeted by dead bugs on the floor. The internet and hot water were nonexistent. Shower was leaking into the bedroom. Can’t turn on the lights at night otherwise you’ll be under a bug attack. Had a cricket the size of a small cat show up in the hallway. Trash wasn’t cleared once in 4 days. To top it off, a power outage left us in the dark with no AC, and no one from the staff was there to help. Guy in the reception was rude and disgusting, told us the owner doesn’t speak English and will not help us, since this is all expected as the property is “located in the middle of nature”. Complete rip-off—avoid at all costs. Explained everything to Expedia, but they did nothing about it. Do yourself a favor and DON’T stay here, it’s a nightmare stay.

Hello dear Yair!First of all we want to thank you for the time you have taken to write this feedback. We are really sorry that you had to deal with bugs, mosquitoes and ants we really try to control them but it is not an easy job since our buildings are in a rustic style with wood and also surrounded by tropical forest. Our intention is that every guest at our rustic villas can experience nature up close so that they can feel the peace and tranquility that Costa Rica’s forests have to offer. Unfortunately sometimes the creatures here may disrupt that peace, and for that reason we recommend keeping the doors to the rooms closed, specially at night time since the light attract insects and utilizing insect repellent since we are so close to the forest. The rodent droppings you mentioned it was mostly likely gecko droppings, but we understand that creatures in the rooms are sometimes unsettling for tourist, so we have already taken measures and actions to mitigate them and bugs moving forward. Also, we are sorry about the lack of internet you had, however what we suggest to our guests in this cases is to come to our lobby if the internet is working well here. Moreover, we are concerned about the power issue, but in this case it was a problem in the community. This is the reality of life here and there is very little we can do about it. We too experienced this inconvenience. The showers are already working with hot water, and there is no way it can leak into any bedroom of the house. In relation to the trash, we remembered that you asked not to clean the house our your stay, however we suggested doing it and we took the trash out. Finally, we want to let you and our future guests know that we have a very experienced employee back working at the front desk now. We are sure he will try to solve any issue our guests have during their stay here, but please let him know. We are very excited. Thank you so much!

Very terrible experience. Daniel the front desk boy very immature and unprofessional. We are charged extra cash for the children even though it was clearly mentioned that we will be arriving with kids. We stayed 2 nights. 2nd night lights went out whole night and they do not have anything back up. Hot, bugs We only know how we spend that night. They have liquid hand soap for hair body. No coffee or coffee maker. I will not suggest this property. This property loots you. Never book this property.

Hello Dear Sandhya, We are really sorry about the experience you had at our hotel. However, to clarify, your reservation made via Expedia said it was for two adults and children under 1 year old, but once your family arrived here, we realized that the children were not that age. So if you had typed the true age of the children in Expedia while booking, it would have given you the correct rate. That way we would not have been required to request the extra charge here upon arrival. Also we are concerned about the power issue, but in this case it was a problem in the community, not only in our hotel. This is the reality of life here and there is very little we can do about it. We too experienced this inconvenience.Regardless, we honestly appreciate your review. We want to let you and our future guests know that we have a very experienced employee back working at the front desk now. We are very excited.Thank you so much!

Nice surroundings. Bed was uncomfortable, no hot water and too noisy at night.

Hello, Thank you so much for the time you have taken on writting this comment about our service. We really appreciate your comment about the bed, since we do not know which Bungalow or room you were in. We will check the beds to find it. On the other hand, all our bungalows have showers with hot water, however, our guests have issues working the showers, so in this case we recomend our guests inform the staff about any issue and we will for sure try to solve it. Finally, our bungalows are surrounded by forest and graden where we have different wild animals at night that makes noise, like owls, but this is something that it is out of our control.
