Posted Sep. 10, 2023 on HotelsWe are 3 travelling. We each had our own bed which was nice. The rooms are comfortable, all the basics. The breakfast was a huge buffet and was delicious. The hotel is in the centre of the village so great location. The draw back is there no air so the rooms can be very hot . It was Sept so opening the window was fine for us but the summer it would uncomfortable.Staff was great except one girl in the dining room was rude. We asked for evening tea and she ripped the tea bags out of our hands and sent us to the front desk . The front desk was lovely. Gave us a kettle but they didn’t have black tea . Anyways over all it was a great hotel. Great price

Excellent hotel to stay friendly staff and the rooms have been modified and done out nice.

What a lovely place!
Posted Jan. 14, 2020 on HotelsDo not judge book by its cover - that quote applies here perfectly. The building does not look very welcoming from the outside, but rooms are newly refurbished ( except of bathroom, but it was very clean and practical, I actually liked its retro looking design ).
Workers at reception were very helpful and kind.
There is 20% discount card for Aquacity offered at reception for guests.
Breakfast plentiful and tasty. If you want fried egg, ask the waiter, they will make it for you free of charge. Very professional waitress.
Room extremely clean, bed comfortable, curtains block the light - insuring good sleep.
I loved the place.
