The lobby was comfortable, clean and relaxing. The coffee area was lovely, staff were very accommodating and helpful and we were delighted with our entire visit.

As I stated in my review on the check in, this is the best all around hotel in which we have stayed on any continent! The staff could actually do nothing to improve because they are the best. Friendly, welcoming helpful,and happy My sister and my niece had stayed at the hotel in different years. Their high praise was my reason for choosing Hotel du Vieux-Quebec. The rooms are wonderful , The lounge nicely appointed and spacious. The attached restaurant convenient. Not enough stars for Hotel du Vieux-Quebec!

This hotel is run so thoughtfully. Check in was fast but so friendly and informative. The room had features that were well thought out like thermos mugs you could use while there at no cost and walking tours written by the owner who was an actual guide and knows so much about Quebec city. These printed guides were ours to keep.
The lounge room was kept impeccably and had excellent free coffe and fruit and games and I could go on and on!!!
This really was the most comfortable I have ever felt in a hotel!!!

Super convenient for walking and eating around. Front desk staff is amiable, knowledgeable and helpful!
Love the common area at the ground floor. It is cozy, families and friends can spend some time together there.

Can’t beat the location right in the heart of the old city. We had only a 1 night stay but everything was great. Especially appreciated their cozy lounge with fruit and water and coffee when we had time to kill after checkout and the weather outside was poor
