Always good

Always love our time at the club. Apartments are clean and comfortable, on site restaurant is great. Of course biggest attraction is the pool which has a sloping floor so kids can be in the same pool at depths they are comfortable with

Mixed experience

The facilities at this country club were lovely, and we really enjoyed how clean and comfortable our luxury apartment was. However, the food definitely let the club down and really wasn't worth what we paid. The breakfast was below average, and the morning serving unit was dirty. The coffee was just from a machine, which was broken and sprouted milk everywhere. If the food was better, we would have been returning, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown. The swimming pool was good but the spa was very busy. The flumes were also shut on the Sunday morning so our children couldn't use them which was disappointing.

Thank you for your review following your recent stay with us, we are delighted that you enjoyed the facilities and the apartments.We are disappointed to hear that we fell short of our high standard at breakfast, our breakfast offering of locally sourced, freshly cooked breakfast is normally well received by our customers however we have passed these comments to our Executive Head Chef for review. Although it is most unusual for our coffee machine to fail, we have reported this to the manufacturer and haven’t had any issues since this occurrence. In our quest to give our customers the perfect experience we identified the opportunity to offer our customers an improved coffee offering and installed the Cornish Coffee machine to elevate the choice for our guests in comparison to many establishments that only offer ground coffee at breakfast.We have asked our Leisure Operations Manager to review your comments about the flume as there is no reason for it to be closed on a Sunday Morning. We are only unable to open the flume during swimming lessons and Aqua Classes; however, we did not hold any of these activities on the Sunday morning. We are now able to open the flume at any time as we have a traffic light system in operation at the top of the flume.We sincerely hope you come back and visit us again in the future. In February we are refurbishing the entire Brasserie and will be launching a new menu at the same time.
