My room had a lovely view of the bay. However the room below me hosted huge gatherings every day from morning until night. They were quite noisy as it was four families with kids of all ages. They had a big fire pit and cooked on it by day, then sat around by night. That said, I think this is a great hotel if you have kids. But maybe not for adults looking for some peace and quiet

The resort its is beautiful and maintained by the staff well. The room we stayed in had a leak from upstairs that saturated part of the carpet which was annoying. The shower temperature fluctuated from cold-burning hot at the same lever point whihc is frankly dangerous for some. The walls were thin and you could hear everything outside your room and those walking around the resort. We also had some teenagers play a prank on our room in the middle of the night by banging on our doors (with do not disturb on) and screaming down the halls. Not the resorts fault for this 1 but a bad experience nonetheless.

Great location

Location is great, walking distance to ocean, restaurants, grocery store, bike paths. The ‘resort’ is older and carries a pretty hefty daily resort fee and parking fee that add up quickly. Rooms are a good size and property felt safe. My kids enjoyed the heated pool. The restaurant on site was fancy but not very kid friendly. Any bike rentals or paddle boards cost extra. The bay cruise we paid extra for and was scenic but kids were very board. I would not recommend paying for the cruise, it was an hour and half boat ride with no commentary. Kids were board after about 20 min and not much seating on top. Overall it’s the location that makes this hotel worth it.

This resort has terrific amenities and a stellar location. It needs a serious facelift though. Very dated and shabby in places. The front desk staff was not particularly friendly. The spa is excellent, as is the gym, the restaurant and the bayside location.
