The hotel sits on old Spanish army fortifications. The property has a nice pool and a clean, private beach.

The view I saw online when reserved was TOTALLY not what I saw when we arrived. Very disappointed.

Some of the reviews made me concerned about my upcoming stay at Caribe Hilton in San Juan. There was no need for worry as our stay there was great! The hotel was very clean and I must comment on the awesome shower pressure! The food and drinks were very good. The location ideal for our trip. Many restaurant options. If you don't want a large meal, Ice Cream & Cookie Co at the hotel has good breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, cookies,
You can walk around the corner to Fogo de Chao steakhouse, which was excellent! Across the street is a small store/restaurant called Cafe Tropical. They have delicious food and drinks! It is only 20 minute walk to downtown Condado and we felt very safe. Serafina restaurant was excellent. Ubers are only $5-10.
I recommend Caribe Hilton!!
