Could not ask for a more convenient location for my plans! It was small but well laid out, and had all the basics I could ask for.

I was very impressed by Sonder! As a graduate student attending a week long conference, I was glad to have an option to go to a grocery store and cook in the unit. This property is located within walking distance of the Seattle Conference Center, Pike Place Market, and the Space Needle. Since it was so walkable, the savings on transportation was an added bonus!

Corporate greed

This company has cut every corner and looked for every extra charge that they can hit you with. Please do not give them a penny of your money as this kind of business practice can't be condoned. I stay in hotels often for work and was absolutely flabbergasted by the practices they have. I booked knowing I would get there early but liked the area. They advertised a place to keep luggage before check in. The luggage area was just a few lockers that were all taken. There is no comfortable lobby to wait in nor a person at the desk to find a room that is ready early like absolutely every other hotel on the planet. If the room is done you should be able to check in but these guys want to charge extra for that and don't have staff so if your particular room isn't ready they can't find another. So I had to wait with my luggage dividing my time between the windy/rainy rooftop and an uncomfortable piece of exercise equipment FOR 4 HOURS! My complaints via chat on the app were absolutely frustrating. They would not remedy my problem which was caused by their not having adequate luggage storage for a place that had no early check-in! They did not offer to reduce or comp my room. They have permanently lost my business. They haven't updated their outlets and I also had to buy a $25 box to charge my devices. Just another frustration. I can only hope that more people will refuse to allow this profit-first mindset to continue.
