Très très satisfait.
Publié le 7 mars 2020 sur HotelsTrès bel hôtel à Camana Bay. Près de plusieurs restos, distance de marche de Georgetown, plusieurs accès publics à la plage à proximité. Les laissez-passer pour le club de plage voisin sont très appréciés. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien insonorisées. On est très satisfait de notre séjour.

The Locale Hotel was a nice surprise. We wanted a less expensive property and one that had a beach we could use. The beach was about an 8-minute walk down the street and was NOT crowded. We sat under a tree on the beach every day and only saw people walking past for exercise but hardly anyone sitting near us on the beach. They provide you with beach chairs/towels, so it was worth the brief walk and to have sand underfoot, which some of the resorts no longer have much of, and nice to have space around you. The rooms were nice and spacious. You could hear a little night traffic as the rooms face the street side but nothing that would keep you awake at night. the bathroom had a nice sized shower. The breakfast was nice, although you have a certain section of the menu to choose from...again it was certainly adequate. Nice restaurants to walk to from the Locale and the people were helpful and friendly. They have a pool (4' deep) on the side of the Locale; not large but nice size to take a dip after the beach and sit around on the lounge chairs. All and all, we were very happy with our choice and would stay there again in the future. We didn't feel that we sacrificed much at the Locale vs. a larger resort on the island. You won't be sorry.

Wonderful and super helpful staff, central location, clean and comfortable rooms. I had second thoughts about not having direct beach access, but Ms Tyler went above and beyond to give us tips and point us to the right direction, we ended up exploring so many great spots and places in the island that we would otherwise not have gone to. Everyone on the staff was so lovely and helpful, and the central location made it easy to access all the must see spots!! The rooms were super clean and comfortable..Will definitely come back!! Thank you Ms Tyler for your wonderful hospitality!!

Great stay!

The most important thing was the staff helped up with all of our questions. We hadn’t planned any excursions before we got there, so we had a lot of questions!! The concierge was so patient with us and helped a lot. I didn’t get to thank her before we left.

Gem of a Hotel
Publié le 19 févr. 2024 sur HotelsGreat little hotel. Rooms are large, plenty of room to spread out, completely updated and clean! Staff is great. Location perfect.
5 min walk to public beach. Or $12 taxi/$2 bus to Governors Beach which is beautiful. Hotel offers use of beach umbrella, chairs and towels.
The hotel also has a small pool area, only 10 lounge chairs, but it was never crowded.
