Yellow ish pillows, not too sure if the sheets were very clean as there was some little crumbs of some sort in between the sheets. Bathroom door could not close all the way. Good sides: very good service at the office. Good location.

Even though its an older motel its got a homey atmosphere. The suites have kitchens which is nice for longer stays. Most of all the hotel owner and staff are wonderful people!! Very polite and professional. They are opening a restaurant in the near future and they offered us a sample of one of there menu item and it was absolutely delicious!! I am excited for the new restaurant!! We are very much enjoying our stay :)

The kitchen was fully equipped. A lot more than just a microwave and a coffee pot.
There seemed to be a nice walking area but we were not equipped to walk in the rain.

The new owner is constantly upgrading the property.
The room had a well appointed kitchenette, everything that might be needed.
The location is perfect. Great access to the highways, but not on the actual highway. Easy walking distance to the town, the lakefront, the visitor centre and the grocery store.
It was quite cool and rainy when I arrived and the pool had already been closed for the season (September 18.23) but the owner's plan is to keep it open and heated further into the season for next year. I believe that he is also going to add a hot tub. The grounds are very well kept. The owner, Rakesh, is helpful and engaging. I had a wonderful stay.

Could be better
