Very nice and comfortable stay! Has a lot of nice amenities, good food & drinks. Some noise from upstairs rooms (if you’re downstairs), but otherwise very quiet.

Unfortunately the pool and spa were closed during our stay with no advance notice when we booked the room. Beyond that, beware the beds -- we have never strayed in a luxury resort with such soft mattresses, which rendered me with a back in spasms for the next 4 days after we left. It's unconscionable that a "new" mattress that is softer than a sponge cake could be put into a room (#57). If you cherish your back -- enquire about the mattress and check before you unpack. We also hosted a luncheon for 10 people on the Sunday at Layla and was disappointed with the lackluster service -- all this will amount to us staying in other luxury resorts next time we are in wine country.
