Remote enough to feel very cozy, but still close to stores and activities. Very nice place to have an amazing vacation regardless if with family or alone.

The cabin looked great from the outside. The interior of the cabin was good as well except for the spider webs and dust on the fans. Bathroom had tiles coming apart. Otherwise, it was a great stay and was fun for the dogs.

Super dusty, musky and stuffy, couldn't stop sneezing and coughing when the ceiling fan was turned on, we also couldn't open the windows because there was no window screens and the flies/ mosquitoes would come on in, , the lighting in the living room didn't work, and some of the clean towels smelled like cat urine, the location was peaceful and quiet, I also got charged for my service dog, but that was my fault, I forgot got to note that with the owners.

The cabin is small, for 8 people it is very small. It needs cleaning maintenance, when we arrived it smelled like vomit, the stove and the microwave are dirty. The good thing is that the person in charge attended us at all times when we needed it.

NOT SAFE, DO NOT rent this cabin, the whole cabin was in dire need of a DEEP CLEAN. Cabin owned by manager of the property. Dust, cob webs, dirt all over the interior cabin. Stove, microwave and areas in the kitchen had layers of grease and dust/dirt on the grease (no cleaning done). The carpet in the loft was completely stained and very filthy. Several windows had no screens, unable to leave window open to allow cabin to cool down without letting the bugs in. One screen frame was on the ground outside of the bedroom window and has been there for some time (sign of long neglect). Window blinds dirty and broken. Window curtain slider in the main living area broken - cannot properly closed the curtain. No curtain or blinds on the window in the upstairs loft – no privacy. Many burnt out light bulbs. Doggie door was broken and could not be secured - obviously a safety issue. Advised Host/Owner immediately and was told, "It is a very safe neighborhood, in 20 years we have never had a break in. But I will have someone look at it before noon (the next day)." We secured the opening by barricading the door with our belongings. The following day all they did was place 4 screws to hold the broken doggie door frame in place - entrance through the doggie door still easily accessible with a one hand push on the thin plastic board covering the opening. Shower hardware loose, not properly secured to the wall – lazy install. Cabin should be banned from any rental service.
