We wanted somewhere we could use as a one night base which was ok. Nice warm greeting from Lorna on arrival. The property is in need of some updating and repairs

The location is convenient for shops, restaurants and cafes as well as close to some good hill and moor walking.

I am sorry you saw fit to give me this review when you had not even stayed.You said you came to book in and nobody was here.I did send you a message to ring me when you arrived but I never had any missed calls, I was also here all day as well as my son and did not hear any knocking.I had to charge as I had held the room for you.Regards Lorna

Publié le 30 déc. 2019 sur HotelsWorst Accomodation we’ve come across yet, was like an halfway house for convicts, handed keys back within an hour after we had gone to a local pub to sit down & find somewhere else !!!
Owner was nice enough, but not upto offering good accommodation ☹️

It was a great shame that when you arrived you thought you had booked a cottage. You were obviously very disappointed that it was not.
However I hope you found what you were looking for within the price of my room.

Great location.. beautiful area with near by reservoirs.. canals.. country walks...characteristic accomodation with all that is needed
