David, Thank you for your excellent rating for La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Auburn. I am sorry the parking seemed limited; our spaces are marked for the average vehicle, and some automobiles are larger than that. We hope you will return to enjoy another great experience.

Decent stay, but noisy overnight railway

Pros:
- 24 hour access to pool and gym
- decent continental breakfast with eggs, waffles, sausages, bagels, etc.
also really appreciated the coffee/ tea stand in the lobby for guests .
-cleanliness was okay despite having to call to get new sheets for one of the beds as there was a couple holes and a faded stain. But the staff was very accommodating and immediately brought new sheets. They got us to change the bed though.
Cons:
- biggest con is the noise!! Did not know there is a railroad (?) right next to the hotel and it genuinely thought a bomb went off cause it shook the windows and woke us up. It would wake us up when it periodically pass. Wondering if the noise is as bad if not facing the back or the hotel? Not sure.

Thank you for the review. We are glad there were many more pros to your visit than cons. We apologize for the noise from the train during the night. There is seldom any overnight activity from the station unless there has been a need to redirect train travel due to a derailment or track maintenance. We hope you will return to visit us again and enjoy a more peaceful experience.

It was wonderful! Quiet and safe. Very clean. Room was comfortable and the soap provided was Dove. Parking was a little hard but not bad.
