Urban oasis
Publié le 24 août 2022 sur HotelsWe travel frequently for work and leisure, and The Ivy is one of the best hotels - if not the best - that we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail in the room and at check in to ensure you have an authentic, special and comfortable stay went beyond our expectations - The Ivy is like an urban oasis. Large room with a supremely comfortable bed with a choice of pillows/duvets suited to you. Terrace with a view over the courtyard. The bathroom was fantastic - it had both a shower and bath, luxurious amenities and a decent hairdryer. Breakfast was excellent and - importantly for us - at your own pace. We regret that we didn't get chance to use the spa, pool or library, eat at The George, and could only stay one night - but we have already recommended staying at The Ivy to our friends and colleagues. The staff were friendly, welcoming and showed hospitality at its best.
For balance and awareness, the hotel is difficult to navigate with a large suitcase (or if you have a mobility problem, I imagine) due to its different levels, and the area further down Queen St East is run down (better to take a taxi at night).

Truly exceptional!
Publié le 31 oct. 2018 sur HotelsTop class accommodation near the financial district. Very large and quiet room and bathroom with separate bath and shower. Very nice, romantic decor and setting for couples. Excellent service and breakfast served at the room. Great restaurants and bars nearby.

L'hôtel est difficile a trouver mais une fois arrivé tout est parfait . Seul point un peu negatif , le centre de fitness nest oas accessible aux hommes ...

Contre : Pour dire quelque chose, peut être le petit déjeuner a étoffé .
Emplacement : Pas très loin du métro, quartier sans trop d'intérêt.
Une très bonne surprise. Les chambres sont très belle. La salle de bain un rêve avec douche et baignoire. La décoration très soignée. Un petit balcon pour le petit déjeuner servie dans la chambre. Le reste de l'hôtel vaut le coup aussi, avec des petits salons un peu partout, ordinateurs, bibliothèque, coin pour prendre des boissons, dès tableaux partout...vraiment très beau et confortable. Le personnel accueillant et à l'écoute, toujours prêt à rendre service.
Nous sommes ravies. Très reposant. J'oublie, la piscine....amazing, comme ils disent!!

I am a fan of staycations and have been eyeing the Ivy at Verity for some time for some me time. I have to say it was the best Staycation that I've had to date in Toronto. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom is gorgeous and the amenities were fantastic. The swimming pool was great, I don't usually venture to too many pools, but this one was so relaxing and the fact that the facilities are female only was an extra bonus. I was also able to enjoy the spa facilities which again were great. The staff were fabulous and very accommodating to my requests. I love that this hotel has 4 rooms, it's very intimate and next time I stay I will be heading to the Speakeasy bar. Unfortunately for me it was closed on the nights that I stayed. I definitely recommend this hotel.
