The hosts were very accommodating to our arrival time. This was a nice romantic getaway in the middle of nowhere.

We love the peacefulness off the property and was a great little getaway just because for my hubby and I. Loved, loved sitting by the pool.

Classy, but some value issues.

We made the mistake of booking the Dubai "suite" which it was not. The room was no bigger than a standard hotel room with no couch. There was one small window in the corner. The lighting was either too bright or almost none at all. Not worth the price - pay up for one of the better rooms.
The Vine restaurant was good. Dinner w/wine for 2 came to around $200. The pool looked very pleasant.

You make some good points. I am going to remarket the Dubai as a room instead of a suite for better clarity and distinction. Thank you for posting a review.

Tremendous weekend getaway. I strongly encourage couples to go there for a total romantic immersion experience.

Spectacular weekend retreat despite covid
Publié le 17 déc. 2020 sur HotelsOur stay at Cameo Heights Mansion was spectacular. The rooms were beautiful and had amazing touches like quality robes, gas fireplace, big TV, and even heated toilet seats with bidet.
The food was delicious and accomodations for covid were reassuring but not intrusive. They have done so much to keep guests safe and comfortable.
We loved the media room and other shared spaces. The design is welcoming and fun. We can't wait to come back when we can get the full experience post covid.
It should be noted that this is not super close to Walla Walla so there is nothing immediately nearby (pharmacy, cafes, etc) but it's an easy jaunt to day trip around the area. We picked it to be more of a retreat so it was perfect for us.

We are so grateful for your exceptional ratings, especially during the difficult transition that is COVID. Glad you felt safe and comfortable. Knock on wood, no guest has reported getting sick here. That is no small deal. Some day we will come out of COVID, but in the meantime we are focused on creating a great getaway even with the restrictions.

The seven course dinner was fabulous. Me and my daughter enjoyed it very much. We had a bottle of local Walla-Walla White Zinfandel from Captain's list. The wine was excellent.
We stayed in English Tudor room where is the attic. The balcony is beaufully facing the valley.
We love the free in room wake upbreakfast service. My daughter had wonderful in room coffee and tea with freshly morning baked cherry danish. It added up the enjoyable experience with Cameo Heights.
There are so many neat details such as your own parking space with your room name on it. With breakfast, the table reserved for our room - English Tudor #7. Very special, unique and nice touch.
During breakfast time, Alan Cameo came out to turn on the music. We took a picture with him.
At checkout, Alan's wife talked to us about their international travelings and shared with us their good experiences.
We are thinking to go back some day.
