Decent property, needs updating
Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was in a great neighborhood any easy to access. Lots of walking paths and playgrounds for the kids. Pool was great.
There were no beach towels or chairs, which we didn’t bring because the listing claimed them.
I specifically asked if the dog run was fully enclosed with a top and was told yes. It wasn’t and our escape artist dog did get out but luckily was at the front door when we got home.
The front bedroom didn’t have electricity except for one plug and you have to plug in the overheard light.
The hall bath lost power totally while we were there.
The owner was quick to respond to messages and getting the property manager over to deal with issues. We ended up having an electrician over at the house till about 9:30 at night which was quite inconvenient since we were leaving the next day and he easily could have waited till then.
While there are bath towels, there are just enough. One per person. So if you’re like me and like to have a hair towel and a body towel, bring one with you.
Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and some pantry staples. That was nice. The backyard is great with a fire pit and charcoal grill and table.
Overall, not a bad property but definitely needs updating. Wasn’t thrilled with the lack of electricity in half of the rooms but we made due.

Unique and beautiful!
Publié le 3 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the architecture and the artwork displayed in this house. Sofas and beds were comfy. Outdoor space was huge and had what we needed (firepit, bbq, tables and chairs). The house has nice high ceilings. Closet in the master bedroom could almost be another room, it was tremendous! In fact, the whole house was very spacious.
Some people have mentioned that there's no door on the master bath. True. I ordered a cheap tension rod and blackout curtain on Instacart -- problem solved. There were a few switches and outlets that didn't seem to work, but nothing earth shattering. When we needed something (backyard lights, umbrella for outdoor table), the property manager took care of it immediately.
This is a lovely place in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I highly recommend it, especially for those seeking something more unique than the usual cookie cutter places out there.

Tustin stay

AC worked very well. Convenient for where we wated to be. Community pool was very nice and clean. Close to house. Property needs some work

Publié le 13 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for an entire week-8 adults and 1 child under 1. Is the house perfect…no, but neither is my house. The management team was super responsive and that made up for any concerns I had. There is a great private backyard area that we sat out in every night and we were even able to enjoy some fresh lemon in our drinks from the lemon tree in the back. The neighborhood is wonderful and we made use of the community pool, multiple parks and nice walking paths throughout our stay. The location is super convenient and close to downtown Tustin, which is a really neat area. Definitely worth the value and we would definitely stay there again.

Property not like it was advertised in VRBO
Publié le 29 juin 2022 sur HomeAwayThe pictures of what we were expecting was not at all what we got. The backyard was dirty. We couldn't use the patio. BBQ was dirty. No umbrella. Dog run was dirty.
The bar height table in the house had no chairs. The refrigerator water dispenser leaked all over the floor. The dishwasher leaked on the floor. The shower curtain was torn.

I’m terribly sorry you had some issues. I wish you had got in touch with us as soon as you had any problems. Every point you have listed could have been rectified within a few hours. Either by bringing in my cleaning crew, or explaining where things were. Like umbrella in garage and bar stools in utility area.
However, the photos are of the property and please any future guests, please contact us with any issues or questions you have….

Great neighborhood and conveniently located
Publié le 18 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed the house overall, the location, and the convenient location to Disney and Newport Beach. The house is beautiful with gorgeous fruit trees in the backyard. The size was good for the size of our family, although putting in some bunk beds in one of the rooms would be ideal for larger families with children. I would have some additional recommendations for improvement. 1) Be sure that the door code that is provided is correct. I received two different codes that we tried and neither worked. We stood outside at 1a (due to a flight delay) waiting for the owner or property manager to respond. To his credit, he did respond fairly quickly by text with the correct code but it was few very tiring tense moments. 2) Please work on the water pressure and water temperature in the home. There were seven of us and we could not take showers at the same time due to the time it took for the water to warm up and the water pressure was not high enough to feel like you were clean in the shower. 3) Be sure that the bathroom and shower are cleaned adequately. There were several dark hairs in the Master Bath shower, which was not appealing. 4) Please provide more towels if there is a large family staying in the home. We had some challenges with keeping clean towels. Overall, with these small changes, I'd recommend this home.

Not what it seems

There is absolutely no privacy, no coverings on most of the windows in the back, the drains in the showers did not drain making showering not very desirable, the sheets and blankets were visibly dirty (thank God I brought my own blankets) overall the house was just dirty. Not a comfortable stay at all. The owner was speedy to responding and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet but the house not what we had thought we were renting.

comfy enough, more than funky enough
