Publié le 21 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur first vist to tybee was great. Perfect location. Backyard gave a place to hangout . Outdoor showers were the best.
Since our group was 40 and up we had problems with the low toilets and climbing up to bunk beds. All said a good time was had and yes I would stay there again

An unusual review. All of the toilets at the property are of standard height (≈17"), the same type you would find anywhere else.
The bunkbeds are a wonderful option for families and are comfortable enough for adults. The sleeping arrangements are explained clearly in the listing, so I'm not sure what we could've done differently in this case. However, I am so glad the guest enjoyed their stay!

Publié le 9 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful property just a 3 minute walk to mid beach. Ted responds quickly to issues/questions. The backyard was perfect for doggy potty breaks and we enjoyed the hammock and tire swing. I will definitely book this home again.

Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThere were 5 of us and we had a fantastic time. Relaxation was the #1 priority for us, that's exactly what we had. The beach is walking distance from there and the beach was very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with just about anything you might need. We will be returning.

Just Ok
Publié le 4 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation was great for the beach. Overall the property was just ok. It just needs some updating. Had a fly problem the entire time and owner implied it was our fault (left a door or window open) as they did not have the problem before or after we left. It was chilly during the day and night so everything was closed all the time. Box spring was broken in back bedroom. And the listing indicated a Hot Tub was there to use but it was missing. Fencing was propped up by 2×4 on one side. It was just ok.

There has never been a hot tub at this cottage, and we have never mentioned one in our listing. The guest must have remembered seeing one in another listing and mistakenly clicked on the wrong one when making their reservation. I understand their disappointment.
I don't doubt that a housefly got inside, but none were there before their arrival, and none are there now. This guest admitted they accidentally broke the box spring by jumping on the bed. Our handyman fixed it easily, so it was no big deal.
We are confused about the fence comment? The fence is fine.

Overnight Trip

If traveling to Tybee Island for a longer trip would definitely inquire on this property as close proximity to beach and other stuff in Tybee! Owners were wonderful!

Relaxing Vacation
Publié le 13 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was just as advertised. Easy to locate after dark, quiet neighborhood, great parking, and location was perfect for Tybee Island and Savannah. Close to beach access and the Tybee Island Lighthouse. We had a couple of dogs and the fenced backyard was perfect for them. Any questions we had were answered immediately. Thank you for a great vacation home that if we are in area again will definitely be our place of choice.
