Perfect Property for Family Gathering
Posted May 14, 2024 on HomeAwayMy family and I are so happy we found this house for my Mom’s birthday weekend! The location is great. It’s very convenient if you like to golf, it’s in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful view. We loved the sunroom as a gathering space and had fun using the arcade games, pool, and deck. The space itself was clean and checking in was easy! Thank you for a great stay, we would happily choose to stay here again if we find ourselves back in Wabasha!

Wonderful Long Weekend of Relaxation before Graduation
Posted May 1, 2024 on HomeAwayOur family of teens and exhausted parents needed a moment of fresh air and relaxation before Maycember and graduation details all explode! The home was perfect for us all to spread out and get much needed alone time whether we were gaming, watching movies, reading in the sunroom or chilling in the pool. Clean overall and location was quiet and restful while also beautiful.

We relaxed in the beautiful sun room, the views were spectacular, we played games, watched movies, ate delicious food, and had a blast in the pool. This property made us all smile and the owners were very helpful and communicative. Many thanks for having us!

What a gem!
Posted Apr. 7, 2024 on HomeAwayThis lovely home has everything we could’ve asked for in a cozy family getaway … plenty of comfy sleeping, seating, and hanging out space, all kinds of kitchen appliances and cookware that work great, variety of card and board games, four arcade cabinets that hooked all of the kiddos, a mini-library (our boys enjoyed reading Magic Treehouse and Spiderman), and of course the heated endless pool that we played in everyday! Spectacular window views allowed us to see bald eagles out and about, and the sunroom was enjoyed as a special place for quiet reflection. We spent a day at the National Eagle Center, which was fun and informative but our kiddos probably would’ve preferred to swim in the pool at the house. We were sad to have to go at the end of our stay. We hope to return some
day during another season to experience the area anew.

Spacious get away
Posted Mar. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a great time at this beautiful home, reading books in the sunroom, kids playing in the pool and even a few rounds of golf which we were not expecting to be open.
Hosts were very good with communication and even came as soon as possible to fix the pool when it wasn’t heating properly.
We would love to come back and visit again!

Such a cute home
Posted Feb. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayMy family and I stayed here this past weekend and we really enjoyed it. The house was spacious and the kids loved the pool. We really liked the sunroom and the heated floors in the bathrooms as well. The communication was great with the home owners as well.

Celebrating our 46th aniversary.

The sun room was a favorite room, with its great view overlooking the town and river. The heated floors made it a cozy place to relax and read. Our weekend in this lovely home celebrating our aniversary with family was simply perfect.

Weekend getaway with an amazing view

The heated floor was nice and it was a great place to work while I was there. Loved the pool and the arcade. We hadn’t absolutely stellar time and can’t wait to return

Late Fall Stay
Posted Dec. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayThe wonderful view that everyone refers to is the river valley that includes Lake Pepin. We would simply describe it as outstanding. Oddly enough, there is just one room that has views of the golf course - - the sun room, which turned out to be our favorite place to hang. (Heated floor!) Our group was 6 adults, a "threenager" and a one-month-old infant. The townhouse layout is unusual but workable. The heated pool was a hit for the 3-year-old and her dad. The water was pristine. We booked our stay knowing all golf courses were closed. Wabasha and the Eagle Center plus Frontenac State Park gave us plenty to do. We were enticed to this booking by the view plus "cozy fires" involving a fireplace, woodburning stove and outdoor firepit. That's our thing for family trips. Learning that firewood is not provided was a very unpleasant surprise upon arrival. Being directed to gas or grocery stores to remedy this falls short of a 5-star experience. Plus, there are no fireplace or woodburning stove instruments or instructions. For all the rentals we've done, this was a first. Which tells me we aren't the primary customer for this home. We also love listening to music and would love to have a sound system available as watching TV is not our thing during family getaways. That being said, if you are considering this property for a golf getaway, my advice is this: book it! After a round of golf you'll be sitting on a deck that you won't want to leave. With views you'll always remember.

As we had discussed, we weren't able to offer firewood at the time, but the cord of wood has now been delivered. We've also added the fireplace tools you mentioned. There were 2 Amazon Alexa's available that are connected to Spotify, they are located in the dining room and the pool room.
