Hotel was lovely , staff was accommodating and helpful , Views was great from the hotel room. Plenty of weddings going on so lots to see

A bit disappointing
Publié le 26 janv. 2024 sur Hotels The building is very attractive and my room was good but Charlie's Bar was not the room that l had expected to eat in. It was a thoroughfare to the gym and swimming pool. The views in daytime were beautiful but at night the open curtains just showed black glass and the overhead lighting was far too bright .The staff were friendly but the food was not great.

Thank you for your feedback, we are currently building a new restaurant on the main side of the Hotel which will open shortly alongside Charlies bar offerring 2 different styles of menu and service. I apologise for the quality of the food, this will be addressed with the team.

Set in a beautiful location, very friendly welcoming staff. We were made to very very welcome. Lovely breafast an extremely spacious room

Walton Hall continues to be a beautiful location for our stay in Wakefield to visit family. Breathtakingly stunning views and a friendly Yorkshire welcome.
However, the choice of menu in Charlies Bar is not as good as prior visits nor was the quality of the food.
During previous visits i was able to have skimmed milk for my drinks but that proved a step too far this time.
Cutting back on wasteful practices is a great idea in this economic climate but please do not compromise on that special attention to detail.
